“Your dollars should follow your ideals”

New Hampshire Senate Minority Leader Jeff Woodburn is annoyed with Russia’s reported interference in the presidential election. As a result, he wants the state liquor stores to stop selling Russian vodka.

The Union Leader reports that Woodburn said in an interview, “Do you send hard-earned dollars to someone who’s trying to undermine your democracy? Your dollars should follow your ideals.”

Your dollars should follow your ideals. Ain’t it the truth?

I look forward to the Senate minority caucus getting behind efforts to let taxpayers divest from involvement with abortion providers. After all, our dollars should follow our ideals.

  1. Deja vu! How precious that a Democrat is copying Mel Thompson’s ban on Russian Vodka. He must be chuckling in his grave. But you are right. How about some defunding of abortion in this state, Rep. Woodburn? I’ll drink to that!
