A note to my readers about going commercial

Leaven for the Loaf has come a long way in two years. I appreciate all the support I’ve gotten from readers. We’ve started conversations, gone to Concord together, marched and prayed together. Let’s keep going.

Here’s a new opportunity for anyone who wants to help sustain this Granite State pro-life blog. Check out the sidebar (or if you’re on a mobile device, the area below the front-page posts), or the end of this post, and you’ll see that Leaven for the Loaf is now a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. Anytime you click through to amazon.com from here and then make a purchase, you’ll help keep Leaven for the Loaf up and running.

Like most blogs, this one’s a labor of love. My family has been very indulgent as I’ve blogged my way to Concord and Boston and CPAC and back home again. I’m ready to invite some teamwork to tackle the expenses of tech support (web hosting & site design) and travel. Scout’s honor: this is not some sly attempt to get you to fund my retirement.

I’ve heard from some folks wondering if I’m going to sell conventional ads or sponsorships. Perhaps in the future, but for now I’ll stick to one new thing at a time.

Have you found value in this local life-focused blog? I hope so – and I hope to keep it up for a long time to come. Thanks for reading.
