About that “donate” button …

Faithful readers will notice a new “donate” button on the blog’s home page. It’s the one that looks like this:

Clicking it will take you to PayPal, where you can make a secure donation in any amount you choose. Access to the blog remains free. Whatever you donate will go towards the care and feeding of Leaven for the Loaf, with my gratitude. This Granite State pro-life blog will thrive with your help.

The major expenses I run up for this project are for travel and tech support. I go wherever I can in New Hampshire to cover an event, whether it’s hearings in Concord or Abby Johnson at Dartmouth or 40 Days for Life in Manchester, regardless of the price of gas. (I go farther afield when circumstances warrant, as longtime readers know.) For site hosting and tech support, I rely on a wonderful team of pros who let me concentrate on writing.

Your donations will not be tax-deductible. Even so, you’ll be supporting this ongoing project to promote New Hampshire pro-life advocacy and news coverage. I won’t scorn small donations. Did the blog’s coverage of legislative hearings on the buffer zone and Griffin’s Law fill you in when traditional journalism didn’t? Five dollars will cover enough gas for a round trip to Concord so I can keep it up.

Whether or not you choose to donate, thanks for reading.
