I was an ocean away from New Hampshire over the weekend, thus missing New Hampshire’s annual march for life. I’m catching up on the event via photos from participants. Check out New Hampshire Right to Life’s Facebook page for coverage.
It appears from the NHRTL photos that of New Hampshire’s four elected federal officeholders, only one – Congressman Frank Guinta – chose to attend the march. Good for him.
Worth reading: Darlene Pawlik of NHRTL and Save the 1 recently posted on her blog a reflection on the aborted children whose remains were discovered in the Concord landfill more than twenty years ago. Last Saturday’s events in Concord began (as is customary) with prayers at what is now the city’s transfer station.
Now, it’s time to look ahead to the 42nd annual March for Life in Washington, scheduled for January 22. Forecast for the area: between five and eight inches of snow. I’m one of many Granite Staters planning to take a bus down to the March, hoping that this will not be one of those rare years when weather forces some buses to turn back. See you there, maybe – and stay safe!
